(Houston, Texas) Gulf Marine Contractors is proud to welcome Patrick Kuys as the new Managing Director for their Sub-Sahara Africa operations. Based out of Cape Town, South Africa, Mr. Kuys will lead GMC's growth in Africa.
GMC is currently opening new locations in South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique. In the near future, GMC plans to extend its network by opening offices in Las Palmas and Senegal. These strategically placed work locations will provide integrated logistics services to both the marine and the offshore industry.

"We are excited to work with our clients on these projects and know that Patrick Kuys is the right person to spearhead this new endeavor."
Mr. Kuys has over 20 years of experience in the logistics industry. During his distinguished career, he has completed onshore and offshore projects in countries all over the world including Italy, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Botswana, and the Bahamas. He comes to GMC from ISS Palumbo, where he held the position of Managing Director of South Africa for the past five years. Prior to that, Mr. Kuys worked for GAC as their Oil and Gas Manager. He holds a degree in Business Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

When he's not working, Mr. Kuys enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. In addition, the Kuys family owns and operates Bright Horizons Educational Daycare, where Mr. Kuys pursues another passion- advocating for children on the autism spectrum.
